QR Codes
For Bookings
ParkFlow supports the use of QR codes to streamline booking validation and vehicle access. Each booking may be associated with two distinct QR code values, each serving a different purpose:
Booking-Level QR Code This QR code uniquely identifies the booking itself. It is used for operations such as reservation lookup, customer validation, and overall access control tied to the booking record.
Vehicle-Level QR Code Because a single booking may include multiple vehicles, each vehicle can be assigned its own QR code. Vehicle-level QR codes enable precise vehicle identification, allowing operations such as gate entry, exit tracking, or per-vehicle billing.
QR codes can be generated directly by ParkFlow or provided by third-party systems integrated through ParkFlow’s APIs or partner interfaces. Third-party QR codes must comply with the required data format and encoding specifications defined by ParkFlow to ensure compatibility with scanning devices and backend processing workflows.
For Subscriptions
Subscriptions in ParkFlow use a single QR code per subscription.
This QR code uniquely represents the subscription and is used for validating subscriber identity and granting recurring access (e.g., monthly or annual parking passes).
Subscription QR codes are static unless the subscription is renewed, reissued, or modified
As with bookings, QR codes may be generated by ParkFlow or sourced from integrated third-party providers, provided they meet ParkFlow’s formatting and encoding specifications.
For One-Time Park
A One-Time Park product uses a single QR code associated with a single parking event. This QR code:
Represents a one-off parking entitlement (e.g., walk-up digital ticket, kiosk purchase, or partner-issued pass).
Is valid for a single entry/exit cycle.
May include time-based or usage-based constraints depending on the configuration.
Can be generated directly by ParkFlow or delivered by third-party integrations.
Once the One-Time Park session is completed or expired, the QR code becomes invalid.
